Your Responsibilities As an Orthodontic Assistant, you'll play an essential role in delivering outstanding patient care while helping our doctors work efficiently and confidently. Responsibilities include: Clinical Excellence Prepare treatment stations before each appointment. Anticipate the doctor's needs during procedures. Assist with orthodontic procedures while maintaining patient comfort. Bond and remove brackets. Change archwires and ligatures. Deliver and monitor clear aligner treatment. Fit and deliver retainers and orthodontic appliances. Educate patients regarding oral hygiene, appliance care, and treatment expectations. Digital Technology Capture high-quality iTero digital scans. Take diagnostic photographs and digital radiographs. Maintain accurate digital records. Ensure all clinical documentation is complete, thorough, and submitted promptly. Infection Control Follow OSHA and CDC sterilization protocols. Maintain exceptional cleanliness throughout the clinical area. Process instruments and maintain sterilization equipment. Ensure operatories are fully prepared before each patient. Team Support Assist teammates throughout the day. Help maintain clinic flow and efficiency. Communicate proactively with doctors and coworkers. Contribute ideas that improve patient care and office efficiency. Help maintain an organized, positive, and professional workplace.
