Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic, privately owned dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care while performing dental hygiene procedures. This role requires a strong commitment to infection control, patient assessment, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. The Dental Hygienist will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and educating patients about proper dental care. We are open to a full time or part time position. Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings and scaling procedures using appropriate techniques. Conduct patient assessments, including medical histories and oral examinations. Utilize medical imaging systems to capture high-quality radiographs. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Assist in infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment. Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to provide comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix. Experience Familiarity with general dentistry practices and procedures is essential. Proficiency in medical imaging techniques and systems is highly desirable. Knowledge of infection control standards and best practices in dental hygiene. We will consider new graduates.
