Registered Dental Hygienist - Bailey Schnebel Coleman DDS - Oklahoma City, OK

We are looking for a new full-time RDH to join our team! A positive and personable demeanor are the most essential attributes to thriving in this established midtown OKC general family practice. You will not be asked to sell any products or add-on services in this role. Your compensation will be based upon your current skills, level of experience and performance at working interview. The hygiene schedule is already completely full! Production-based compensation models can be discussed. Our practice simply desires the right person that wants to put in genuine effort to get to know our patients and have a positive impact on their oral health for the long haul. This private practice has one doctor so efficiency, clear communication, and versatility in the moment are essential in our day to day practice. New patients are scheduled for 90 minutes, adults 1 hour and children 30 minutes with a 30 minute lunch. Our doctor does not take a lunch break. We see many families in our practice, so the ideal candidate must be comfortable seeing children. A high degree of professionalism and integrity are necessary to maintain the level of care we have established in the midtown OKC neighborhood. Responsibilities Welcome patients in the dental office when needed Prepare instrument trays, equipment, and materials needed based upon schedule Sterilize instruments Undertake lab tasks when necessary as instructed Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Keep all dental rooms clean and well-stocked throughout the day Schedule appointments post visit Assist Dentist in maintaining accurate patient records Must be comfortable performing child cleanings Skills Registered Dental Hygienist 1-2 years experience preferred Knowledge of sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations All Oklahoma certifications required Efficient computer skills Excellent communication and people skills Job Types: Part-time, Full-time Pay: $45.00 - $53.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Health insurance Education: Bachelor's (Preferred) Experience: Hygiene: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: X-Ray Certification (Preferred) Registered Dental Hygienist (Required) Work Location: In person
