Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our vibrant dental team! Duties Assist dentists during a wide range of procedures including restorative, prosthodontic, endodontic, and pediatric treatments with precision and confidence Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary supplies following strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques Take and develop dental X-rays using advanced medical imaging equipment such as 3D scanners and traditional radiography tools while ensuring patient safety and comfort Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Epic, and other EMR platforms to accurately document patient information, treatment plans, and medical histories in compliance with HIPAA regulations Perform vital signs assessments and monitor patient comfort throughout procedures to ensure safety and well-being Support administrative tasks such as greeting patients as a dental receptionist, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and maintaining organized medical documentation and records Educate patients on dental terminology, post-treatment care instructions, and preventive practices to promote oral health awareness Requirements Valid license as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or equivalent certification in accordance with state or regional licensing boards Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with proficiency in general dentistry procedures Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control standards, and aseptic techniques Familiarity with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Epic or similar platforms for medical documentation and records management Ability to perform dental X-ray procedures safely while adhering to radiation safety guidelines Experience assisting with pediatric dentistry cases is highly desirable Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry and pediatrics for accurate documentation Skilled in chairside assisting techniques including four-handed dentistry for efficiency and patient comfort Competence in taking vital signs and understanding medical imaging processes for comprehensive patient care Join our team where your skills will make a real difference!
