Scholes Family Dental is seeking a motivated and dependable Dental Assistant to join our small, supportive team. We are looking for someone who enjoys helping patients, works well with others, and takes pride in providing excellent care. About Our Office At Scholes Family Dental, we are a small team that works together to provide exceptional patient care. Dr. Scholes is a patient, easygoing doctor who values teamwork and creating a positive workplace. We have a part-time hygiene assistant, and all team members help each other as needed to keep the office running smoothly. Schedule Tuesday–Thursday 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM 1-hour lunch break 30 hours per week What We Offer Competitive pay: $17.00–$23.00 per hour, depending on experience Medical and dental benefits Paid time off Three-day work week Supportive, team-oriented environment Qualifications No experience necessary—we are willing to train the right person Positive attitude and strong work ethic Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work well in a team environment Desire to learn and grow professionally Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures Assist the doctor during a variety of dental procedures Take digital X-rays Sterilize and maintain instruments according to infection control standards Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Chart treatment and update patient records accurately Help maintain an organized, efficient schedule and patient flow Manage dental supplies and assist with inventory ordering Ensure operatories are clean, stocked, and ready for patients Provide exceptional customer service and help patients feel comfortable during their visit Assist with training and supporting team members as needed Work collaboratively with the entire team to provide outstanding patient care Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Work Location: In person
