One Tooth, One Smile, One Family at a Time" About the Opportunity Adventure Dental is a thriving pediatric dental and orthodontic practice looking for an enthusiastic Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. We're currently hiring for Mondays and Wednesdays (starting in August) . This position will also provide additional hours during a scheduled maternity leave beginning in December , making it a great opportunity for someone looking to grow with our practice. Our hygienists are much more than clinicians—they're educators, cheerleaders, confidence builders, and an essential part of creating positive dental experiences for children and their families. If pediatric dentistry is new to you, don't worry! Our experienced hygiene team will provide training, guidance, and support to help you become comfortable with our techniques, communication, and pediatric approach. Responsibilities ● Give local anesthetic ● Place sealants and composite fillings ● Administer nitrous oxide ● Scaling using both cavitron and hand instrumentation ● Gingival assessment ● Instruct patients and parents of all ages on proper dental hygiene and care ● Pitch in with other duties as needed to help make each appointment go smoothly Minimum Requirements ● Current Washington State RDH License (full scope of Washington laws) ● Current CPR certification ● Basic understanding of HIPPA privacy rules ● Able to multitask and work through distractions ● Excellent verbal communication ● Maintain own functioning loupes with light ● Willingness to work with children at their pace and comfort level Job Type: Part-Time (2 days) with potential to move to a full time position (3 Days) Competitive pay depending on Skill Level and experience.
