Chicago Oral Surgery & Implant Center is seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Dental Assistant for their Roscoe Village location. In this key role, you will help ensure a smooth and welcoming patient experience while providing clinical support to the surgical team during procedures. Responsibilities include preparing patients for treatment, sterilizing and organizing instruments, taking dental impressions, and assisting during both dentoalveolar and implant surgeries. Responsibilities and Requirements of the Dental Assistant: Prior experience in oral surgery assisting, sterilization protocols, and digital dental radiography is preferred. Familiarity with oral surgery procedures, dental implants, and IV sedation/anesthesia is a plus. Assist during dentoalveolar and implant surgeries, including cases performed under IV sedation and general anesthesia. Provide patients with clear pre-operative and post-operative instructions to ensure proper care and recovery. Take dental radiographs and impressions to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Maintain proper sterilization and infection control standards for all instruments and operatories. Assist with ordering and maintaining clinical supplies and office equipment as needed. Highly motivated with a strong focus on delivering exceptional patient care and patient experience. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage responsibilities efficiently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a team-oriented mindset.
