Duties Perform general dentistry procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, implants, and prosthodontics with precision and care Conduct patient assessments, diagnose dental conditions, and develop personalized treatment plans Execute complex procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, and oral surgery while maintaining high standards of safety and aseptic technique Utilize dental software systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for accurate medical documentation and record keeping Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed in accordance with HIPAA regulations and industry best practices Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and preventive care to promote long-term dental health Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry to optimize workflow efficiency and patient comfort Experience Proven experience working in a dental office or clinic environment with a strong foundation in general dentistry procedures Familiarity with pediatric dentistry techniques and treating pediatric patients (Pediatrics) is highly desirable Knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and medical imaging techniques for accurate diagnosis and documentation Hands-on experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy (Endodontics), and prosthodontic procedures such as crowns or bridges Ability to demonstrate excellent patient care skills with a focus on patient assessment and comfort management Proficiency with dental software platforms like Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix to manage medical records efficiently Strong understanding of infection control standards, anatomy knowledge relevant to dental procedures, and adherence to HIPAA compliance This energetic role is ideal for dedicated professionals eager to make a difference in patientsâ lives through exceptional dental care.
