Job Summary KDENTAL (formerly Hess Dental Care) is seeking a positive and motivated Dental Assistant at our well established, comfortable pace out of network private practice. Previous Assisting Experience or DA certification is required. We are a small team of four, and our positive and family culture is what sets us apart. At KDENTAL, youâre not just an employee. In our practice, youâll play an important role in supporting patient care, assisting with procedures, sterilizing instruments, and helping create a positive experience for every patient. Hours : We see patients on M, T, W: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Th from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Morning Huddle starts at 7:45 AM, and weekly team meeting from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM on Thursdays. No Fridays, Weekends or Holidays. Expected hours: Full time - 4 days per week (35-38hrs) Pay : $20-25 to start based on experience and value to our practice Benefits for full time employees: Practice Health insurance Retirement Plan with matching Free dental care for employees and immediate family members Paid holidays Paid Time Off Duties Patient communication â Greet patients, review medical histories, and help them feel comfortable Chairside assistance â Support the dentist during procedures by preparing instruments, materials, and ensuring smooth workflow Room preparation â Set up and break down operatories before and after each patient Instrument sterilization â Clean, disinfect, and sterilize instruments following proper protocols Sterilization area upkeep â Keep sterilization and prep areas organized and compliant Taking Xârays â Capture digital radiographs and ensure proper positioning and safety Charting and documentation â Record treatment notes, findings, and procedure details accurately Assisting with impressions â Help with scans and lab case preparation Maintaining inventory â Monitor supplies and restock operatories as needed Workflow support â Help keep the schedule running smoothly and assist the team wherever needed Qualifications Assisting Experience or Dental Assistant Degree Motivated mindset â Shows initiative, stays engaged, and contributes positively to the team Openâminded attitude â Willing to learn, adapt, and embrace new workflows or technologies Teamâoriented work style â Works collaboratively and supports a respectful, healthy culture Reliability and professionalism â Consistent attendance, punctuality, and strong work ethic Comfort with technology â Able to learn digital charting, Xâray systems, and office software Patientâfocused mindset â Helps create a welcoming, comfortable experience for every patient Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Professional development assistance Retirement plan Tuition reimbursement Application Question(s): What made you interested in the dental field?
