Duties Assist the dentist during a wide range of procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry, ensuring smooth workflow and patient comfort. Perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient experience. Take and develop X-rays and medical imaging such as 3D scans while maintaining strict adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Manage patient records using Dentrix; accurately document treatment details in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Measure vital signs and monitor patient health before procedures to ensure safety during treatment. Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean environment following infection control standards. Experience Certification in expanded functions along with Floride certification required; additional certifications in medical coding or 3D scanning are advantageous.
