Job Overview We are seeking a dental hygienist to work part-time on Wednesdays from 7:30-5:00 pm. Our office is located in SE Portland and is a well established family oriented practice! We utilize Nomad x-rays and Eaglesoft software. $500 sign on bonus included! New graduates are welcome! Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup Take and evaluate vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature to assess patient health status Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term oral health Maintain strict infection control standards in accordance with HIPAA regulations and OSHA guidelines to ensure patient safety Requirements Valid Oregon State License CPR/X-ray certified Local anesthetic endorsement required Our office was not plumbed for nitrous oxide, no certificate required Pay: From $65.00 per hour Benefits: Paid time off Work Location: In person
