Job Summary Our private practice has been providing high quality dental care in the Blue Bell, PA community for over 60 years ! We are looking for a registered dental hygienist who is friendly, has an attention to detail, and wants to be a part of an amazing team. As a hygienist at the practice you will have 60 minutes per adult patient. We see our hygienists as essential partners in patient care. We are a two dentist growing private practice with a thriving hygiene department. You will have a direct line to the doctor to collaborate on patient health and treatment. Our front office, dental assistants, and doctors respect and support our hygiene department. Timing is everything in life. This position is only available due to a very valued hygienist retiring who has been with us for over 20 years. She is amazing and we are sad to see her go. She along with our other two hygienists have created a superior hygiene department. In this role you will provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, promote oral health education, and support the overall efficiency of our dental practice. Your expertise in patient assessment, infection control, and patient treatment will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel confident and cared for. Responsibilities Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical history and vital signs to ensure safe treatment procedures. Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and calculus buildup. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care tailored to their individual needs. Expose digital images while maintaining strict infection control and aseptic techniques.
