Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and safety while performing a variety of clinical tasks. This role requires a strong understanding of infection control procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Duties Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages, including pediatrics. Perform medical imaging procedures as required, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to HIPAA regulations. Review patient documentation and medical histories to provide comprehensive care. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of preventive care. Assist in four-handed dentistry procedures, working closely with the dentist to enhance patient experience. Monitor vital signs as necessary during dental procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols at all times. Collaborate with the dental team to improve patient care processes and outcomes. Requirements Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice. Experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred. Knowledge of infection control standards and practices. Proficiency in medical imaging techniques and equipment. Familiarity with documentation review processes and HIPAA compliance. Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus. Strong skills in general dentistry practices and four-handed dentistry techniques. Ability to take and monitor vital signs as needed.
