Reporting to the Lead Dentist, you will utilize your core skills in patient assessment and care, along with your knowledge of dental terminology and aseptic techniques. Responsibilities Provide chairside assistance during pediatric dental procedures, ensuring a comfortable experience for young patients. Conduct patient assessments and maintain accurate medical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Educate patients and their guardians on oral hygiene practices and preventive care. Assist in the management of vital signs and medical imaging as needed. Implement aseptic techniques to maintain a safe and sterile environment. Qualifications Valid dental hygienist license Proficient in chairside assisting and patient care Knowledge of dental terminology and medical records Experience in pediatric dentistry and four-handed dentistry Understanding of HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques Ability to assess patient needs and vital signs Strong documentation Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $47.00 per hour Work Location: In person
