Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a sterile environment. This position requires expertise in various dental practices, including assisting with surgical procedures. Duties Assist the dentist during surgical procedures by providing chairside support and ensuring all necessary instruments are readily available. Prepare and maintain the surgical area, ensuring compliance with aseptic techniques and infection control standards. Take and record vital signs as needed, ensuring accurate medical documentation for each patient. Perform X-ray imaging and assist with medical imaging tasks as required. Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and provide comfort during treatments. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care. Assist in managing medical records and documentation to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Qualifications Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is required, with specific experience in chairside assisting during surgical procedures. Familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques is highly desirable. Understanding of medical terminology and ability to navigate medical documentation processes effectively. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
