Looking for full time but open to part time options; immediate start. The office is open 8-5, Monday-Thursday and 8-1 Fridays, no weekends. Excellent PTO and 401k program. Pay commensurate with experience and skill levels. Looking for a warm, compassionate, and dedicated clinical chair-side dental assistant to help deliver exceptional patient care. We are a private, non-corporate office that provides high-end, individualized, boutique service. This position requires high organizational and critical thinking skills, all while maintaining a calm and professional attitude, especially during direct patient care. Clinical responsibilities include assisting in the operatories: before (set-up), during (chair-side assisting, radiographs), and after (break-down, infection control, clinical notes) procedures. They also include proper sterilization of instruments and maintenance of equipment. Other responsibilities include tracking of patient lab cases, pouring models, ordering and stocking of inventory. Requirements: Successful passing of the DANB Infection Control and Radiology exams Updated CE accreditations if required by the State of CT Gross and fine motor skills sufficient to provide safe and effective patient care (including full manual dexterity and tactile ability to control small instruments for four-handed assisting). Thorough knowledge of dental software, including Dentrix, Dexis, and Carestream (can train if experience with other PMS). Basic proficiency in data entry and general office software. Detail oriented with immaculate organizational skills. All team members must know how to get along with one another in a professional manner and work collaboratively as a team.
