Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. This dual-role position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about providing exceptional patient care and supporting efficient clinic operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills (English and Spanish is a must) dental assisting experience at least 2 years and familiarity with dental eagle software systems. Experience with general dentistry, infection control and OSHA regulations. This role is essential in ensuring smooth patient flow, and delivering high-quality dental services in a professional environment. Duties Assist the dentist during procedures through four-handed dentistry techniques and chairside assisting Take and record vital signs and medical history, including X-ray imaging and other medical imaging procedures Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments while maintaining aseptic technique and infection control standards Educate patients on dental procedures, post-care instructions, and dental terminology Support infection control protocols to maintain a sterile environment in accordance with OSHA guidelines Operate 3D scanners or other advanced dental technology as needed for diagnostics or treatment planning Good communication and organization Basic computer skills Professional and friendly attitude Ability to multitask. Qualifications Proven experience in dental front desk and assisting or a dental clinic setting with knowledge of general dentistry procedures Familiarity with Eagle soft Expanded Duties certificate Ability to perform chairside assisting including taking X-rays, vital signs, and using dental imaging equipment Strong understanding of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques make temporary crowns Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Certification in radiography or X-ray certification is preferred but not mandatory Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dentistry and proficiency in using 3D scanners or other advanced diagnostic tools is a plus Join our team to provide compassionate patient care while supporting the operational excellence of our dental practice.
