Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging. Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with patient needs and preferences while explaining procedures clearly. Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment. Utilize dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for accurate medical documentation and record keeping in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations. Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and healthcare diagnosis to provide precise care. Requirements Valid state dental license with current certification to practice dentistry. Proven experience in general dentistry within a dental clinic or office setting. Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical imaging techniques, infection control standards, and dental fabrication processes. Experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery procedures. Ability to communicate effectively with patients of diverse backgrounds and explain complex procedures clearly. Commitment to ongoing professional development in pediatric dentistry, anesthesiology, and other specialized areas as needed.
