Job Title : Dental Assistant Department : Community Health Center Dental Office Compensation : Varies depending on experience and qualifications Center for Pan Asian Community Services, Inc. (CPACS) is a private nonprofit located in Atlanta, Georgia. Position Summary: We are seeking a friendly, energetic, positive-minded team player with a professional demeanor to join our team to provide a quality focused dental care. We are mostly a fee-for-service practice P/T position available. M-F. The applicant must have excellent working knowledge of dentistry, provide outstanding patient care in a professional demeanor, self-motivated, outgoing, and be able to perform all tasks required in dental assisting. Duties and Responsibilities: · Update and maintain patientâs dental records. · Perform routine dental cleanings and assist the dentist with complex dental procedures · Take and process X-rays of patients. · Advise patients on recommended oral hygiene · Knowledgeable of scheduling effective · Taking & pouring dental impressions (molds of the mouth) · Preparing patients for surgery. · Operating equipment and monitors. · Talking with patients. · Performing administrative tasks. · Preparing examination areas. Minimum Education/Experience: A combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for success would require: High-School diploma or equivalent Authorized to work in the US Ability to relate to patients, through familiarity with medical or dental terminology Ability to communicate with people and understand their problems Ability to speak, read, and write in English Ability to multitask multiple tasks at the same time Friendly personality with the desire to work with the public · Professional and mature demeanor · Punctual, dependable, & responsible · Outstanding Patient service · Humble and Caring Personality · Goal Oriented and Eager to learn Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in dental assistants.
