What You'll Do As an Orthodontic Chairside Technician, you'll play an important role in helping our patients achieve healthy, beautiful smiles by assisting our orthodontists and supporting our clinical team. Responsibilities include: Preparing treatment chairs and instruments for patient appointments Assisting the orthodontist during patient procedures Taking digital photographs, radiographs, and intraoral scans Placing and removing orthodontic appliances under the direction of the orthodontist Providing patients with instructions for appliance care and oral hygiene Sterilizing instruments and maintaining infection control standards Keeping treatment areas organized, clean, and fully stocked Creating a welcoming, positive experience for every patient and family Working collaboratively with our clinical and administrative team What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Friendly, upbeat, and personable Professional with excellent communication skills Detail-oriented and organized A team player with a positive attitude Eager to learn and grow Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Passionate about providing outstanding patient care Qualifications Dental assisting or orthodontic assisting experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate Strong interpersonal and organizational skills Dependable with excellent attendance Why You'll Love Working at Thacker Orthodontics We believe our team is our greatest asset.
