Permanent Dentist Job in Palmetto Bay, FL
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality dental care and a commitment to patient education and comfort. This role requires expertise in various dental procedures, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and endodontics. The Dentist will work collaboratively with our team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients. Payment to be discussed at interview, as it varies. Duties Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments. Diagnose and treat a variety of dental conditions. Perform procedures such as dental extractions, root canals, fillings, and crowns. Utilize medical imaging techniques to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation using Dentrix or Eaglesoft software. Educate patients on oral health practices and preventative care. Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide optimal patient care. Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuous education. Qualifications Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid state dental license. Proficiency in using dental software such as Open Dental is preferred. Experience with medical documentation and medical records management. Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices is a plus. Familiarity with endodontics and other specialized dental procedures is advantageous. Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
