Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Hammond, LA
Endodontic office in need of registered dental assistant to assist chairside during root canal procedures. Duties include, but are not limited to the following: taking quality pre and postoperative x-rays, taking CBCT scans, assisting doctor using four-handed dentistry, placing rubber dams, inputting patient notes in digital charts, scheduling patient follow up appointments, sterilizing instruments, breaking down and setting up treatment rooms, restocking supplies, and occasionally helping in front reception when needed (answering phones, making appointments, checking patients in or out, verifying insurance, confirming appointments). Candidate should be a friendly, hardworking, punctual, and dependable team player. Minimum two years dental assisting experience is a must.
