What You'll Do As an Orthodontic Dental Assistant, you'll play an important role in delivering excellent patient care by: Welcoming patients and preparing them for treatment Assisting the orthodontist during procedures such as placing brackets, changing wires, fitting appliances, and other orthodontic treatments Taking digital X-rays, photographs, and 3D scans Educating patients on oral hygiene, appliance care, and treatment expectations Sterilizing instruments and maintaining a clean, organized clinical environment Accurately documenting treatment notes and updating patient records Helping maintain an efficient patient schedule and supporting the team as needed Creating a fun, positive, and comfortable experience for every patient What We're Looking For Previous dental assisting experience (orthodontic experience is preferred but we're willing to train the right person) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Team player who enjoys working collaboratively Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and patient care Knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures Radiology certification (if required by state) Why You'll Love Working Here We believe our team is our greatest asset.
