Job Title: Orthodontic Assistant (Part-Time – Thursdays) Location: Park Street Dental in Westborough, MA Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and reliable dental assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. This position is one day per week (Thursdays), from 10:00AM to 6:00 PM, with a 1-hour lunch break. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in orthodontics and a patient-focused approach to care. Responsibilities: Assist the orthodontist during procedures, including bracket placement, wire changes, and adjustments Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment areas Take digital impressions, radiographs, and intraoral photos as needed Provide patient education on oral hygiene and appliance care Maintain accurate clinical notes and patient records Ensure a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment Fabricate Essix retainers from 3D printed models Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of experience as an orthodontic assistant (required) Strong knowledge of orthodontic procedures and terminology Experience with digital imaging and orthodontic software preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced setting Professional, positive, and patient-centered demeanor Benefits: Competitive hourly rate based on experience Supportive and collaborative work environment If you are an experienced orthodontic assistant looking for a consistent one-day-per-week opportunity, we’d love to hear from you.
