Growing Smiles Pediatric Dentistry is looking for a Dental Hygiene Assistant who is a friendly, caring, and dependable individual with top notch customer service skills. A history of working in pediatric dentistry is appreciated but we are willing to train if the personality is right! This position is great for those thinking about going to school for dental assisting or dental hygiene. The main role of our Dental Hygiene Assistants is to assist the Dental Hygiene Team during their appointments. The Dental Hygiene Assistant helps our Hygiene Team to start each appointment on time, stay stocked and ready for each patient, and to sterilize equipment. Dental Hygiene Assistant responsibilities may include any of the following: -seating patients and informing their family of the plans for the day -keeping operatories stocked and clean -sterilizing instruments, making procedure trays -keep schedule running on time Important Details: Our office sees patients Monday- Thursday, with Friday off.
