Lead Dental Assistant Pay: From $25.00 per hour Job Type: Full-time Location: O'Fallon, MO Join Our Growing Private Practice! Due to our recent office expansion and growth in patient services, Lakeside Dental is seeking an experienced Lead Dental Assistant to join our team! We are a modern, privately owned dental practice dedicated to exceptional patient care, teamwork, and clinical excellence. We are looking for a motivated leader who enjoys mentoring others, staying organized, and helping create an outstanding experience for both patients and team members. Enjoy a 4-day work week — our office is open Monday through Thursday. Responsibilities: Chairside assisting for a variety of dental procedures Prepare treatment rooms and instruments Take digital radiographs and intraoral photos Sterilization and infection control Assist with same-day treatment and patient flow Maintain clinical supplies and inventory Ensure OSHA and infection control compliance Lead and support the clinical team Help train and mentor dental assistants Work closely with the doctor and office manager to maintain efficient daily operations Front office experience is a plus and includes scheduling, insurance knowledge, and assisting with patient communication when needed Qualifications: Previous lead dental assistant experience preferred Expanded Functions (EFDA) certification preferred (if applicable) Excellent communication and leadership skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Positive attitude with a team-first mindset Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Front office experience is a plus Benefits: Starting pay from $25.00 per hour (based on experience) Medical benefits Dental benefits 401(k) Uniform allowance Paid holidays Paid time off 4-day work week (Monday–Thursday) Supportive and positive team environment Modern, expanding practice with updated technology If you're an experienced dental assistant looking to grow your career in a supportive private practice , we'd love to meet you!
