Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Tucson, AZ
Experienced Dental Assistant We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our growing dental team. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and has experience with CEREC technology, digital scanning, implant procedures, and restorative dentistry. Responsibilities: Assist the doctor during a variety of dental and surgical procedures Prepare treatment rooms and patients for treatment Take digital radiographs, intraoral photos and impressions Operate and assist with CEREC same-day restorative procedures Utilize the CEREC PrimeScan for digital impressions and treatment workflows Assist with implant placement surgeries and restorative implant procedures Assist with crown, bridge, prosthetic, and other restorative treatments Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA compliance Provide exceptional patient care and patient education Support a productive schedule in a fast-paced clinical environment Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience preferred Experience with CEREC technology required Experience using the CEREC PrimeScan preferred Knowledge of implant placement and implant restorative procedures Strong understanding of prosthetic and restorative dentistry Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy practice Excellent communication and patient care skills Reliable, professional, and team-oriented Experience with Oryx Dental Software is a plus Current x-ray certification as required by state regulations What We Offer: Competitive pay based on experience and skill set Supportive and collaborative team environment Modern, technology-driven practice Opportunities for professional growth Team bonus package available We are looking for a team player who takes pride in delivering excellent patient care, is eager to learn, and is passionate about dentistry.
