Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our Radiant Smiles dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support to the dental team and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within the practice. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a passion for patient care. The Dental Assistant will assist in various procedures, manage patient records, maintain a clean and organized environment, and take on additional office needs. Bi-lingual (Spanish) Preferred Duties Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary tools and materials are ready. Take and develop X-rays as required, adhering to safety protocols. Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, confirming, and following up on visits. Maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Prepare treatment rooms by cleaning and sterilizing instruments and equipment. Support pediatric patients with care tailored to their needs. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care in general dentistry. Experience Previous experience in dental assisting is required; office specific training will be provided. Familiarity with medical/dental terminology and dental imaging is required. Experience working in a dental clinic setting is a plus. Knowledge of systems such as Open Dental will be beneficial for managing patient records efficiently.
