Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Winter Park, FL
We are a well established General Dentistry practice seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our amazing team! Applicants should be familiar with general practice procedures including taking impressions, restorative treatment, fixed and removable prosthetic treatments, restoration, and obtaining X-Rays. Duties: Maintain a healthy and organized treatment area Follow cleaning and sterilization per OSHA/CDC guidelines and regulations Proven abilities in 4-handed dental procedures Impression and model controls along with lab duties Educate patients on their treatment plans as well as maintaining their oral health Perform proper operation and maintenance of dental equipment Ability to work in a fast paced environments possessing excellent interpersonal and organizational skills establishing positive relationships This position requires a Dental Assistant certification or license, as well as the following qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of an accredited dental assisting program - Current CPR certification and X-Ray certification Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Employee discount Paid time off Experience: Dental assisting: 2 years (Required) License/Certification: Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) (Preferred) Work Location: In person
