Dental Hygienist Full time position available! Our family dental practice specializes in five-star customer service, as well as all facets of dentistry, including orthodontics, oral surgery, implant placement, and full mouth rehabilitation. Contact Karen 631-581-5121 Duties: - Perform dental hygiene procedures, including but not limited to teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing. - Take dental x-rays. - Conduct oral health assessments and provide patient education on oral hygiene techniques. - Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed. - Maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems - Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment. - Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care. Requirements: - Valid New York State dental hygiene license. - Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program. - Experience with dental software systems - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. - Ability to work well in a team environment.
