The Role We are seeking a skilled, compassionate Expanded Function Dental Assistant who enjoys working with children to join our growing pediatric team. You will provide expanded-function chairside care, help children feel safe and comfortable, and support our minimally invasive, functional approach. What We Offer Competitive pay: $32–$40 per hour, depending on experience Unhurried, fee-for-service schedule — real time with each child, no production-mill pressure Mentorship and professional development in pediatric, minimally invasive, and airway-conscious dentistry Clear path from part-time to full-time as we grow 401(k) with employer match Paid time off and paid holidays (after first year of employment) Free or discounted dental care for you and your family Paid continuing education and licensing/renewal fee reimbursement Uniform / scrub allowance Flexible scheduling and a supportive, family-first team culture Production / performance incentives where applicable Your Responsibilities This role primarily consists of your own patient column dedicated to children's cleanings: supragingival coronal-polishing and sealant placements throughout the day Other duties: general expanded-function duties: placing and finishing restorations, four-handed chairside assistance during procedures Take radiographs, intraoral scans, and photos following safety protocols Use positive behavioral management to keep children calm and engaged Prepare, disinfect, and sterilize operatories and instruments (OSHA, HIPAA, CDC standards) Educate children and parents on oral hygiene and pre- and post-treatment care Document care accurately and support smooth patient flow with the front desk What We’re Looking For Active Pennsylvania EFDA certification and radiology (X-ray) certification Current CPR / Basic Life Support Six (6) or more months of dental assisting experience (pediatric experience is valued and reflected at the top of our pay range) A warm, patient personality and a love of working with children Comfort with dental software (we use Oryx) Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-first Pennsylvania child-protection clearances — Child Abuse Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and FBI background check (required to work with children) Pay & Schedule Pay: $32–$40 per hour, depending on experience (pediatric experience toward the top) Schedule: Summer hours: Tues - Thursday 8:30-3:30 School year hours: Monday- Friday 8:30-3:30 Location: In person — Yardley/Newtown, PA area How to Apply Send your resume and a short note about why a holistic, kid-focused practice appeals to you.
