About Us Northwest PA Endodontics is a new, state-of-the-art specialty dental practice dedicated to saving natural teeth through advanced endodontic care. Led by Dr. Teresa Capristo, a board-certified endodontist, veteran, and Pennsylvania native, our practice is committed to providing exceptional patient care in a compassionate and professional environment. We are seeking a motivated, dependable Dental Assistant to join our growing team. Position Summary The Dental Assistant plays a key role in delivering outstanding patient care and supporting clinical operations. This position involves assisting with root canal procedures, maintaining treatment rooms, sterilization, patient communication, and helping create a positive patient experience. Schedule Tuesday – Friday Approximately 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM No evenings No weekends Compensation No dental experience: $16–$19 per hour Experienced dental assistants: $21–$23 per hour- re-evaluation for $22-25 per hr at 3 months Compensation based on experience, skills, certifications, and qualifications Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for procedures Assist the doctor during endodontic treatment Take and process dental radiographs Operate CBCT and other dental technology (training provided) Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards Review medical histories and assist with patient education Ensure efficient room turnover between patients Maintain inventory and clinical supplies Provide exceptional customer service to patients and referring offices Qualifications Required: High school diploma or GED Positive attitude and willingness to learn Strong communication and organizational skills Professional appearance and strong work ethic Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment Preferred: Dental assisting experience Dental radiology certification Knowledge of dental software and digital imaging Experience with specialty dentistry or endodontics Training & Professional Development We are willing to train the right candidate.
