Job Summary We are seeking a professional, reliable and skilled Dental Assistant- DAII to join our Pediatric Practice. Our ideal candidate will be a team player in every sense. It is important that you love working with children and their families. You will play a crucial role in providing world class patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our office. This position requires a strong understanding of dental assisting procedures, infection control protocols, and familiarity with various dental technologies. This role will include acting as a liaison between the front and back, and may involve light marketing at times. We are seeking someone with at least 1 year of assisting experience. This will be a great opportunity for growth and leadership experience. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and routine dental procedures. Update Charts accurately and efficiently. Perform basic dental procedures such as taking X-rays, & coronal polishing. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control standards. Assist with developing treatment plans and explaining them to families. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow within the clinic. Experience Atleast 3 years of experience in dental assisting , specifically in pediatrics is preferred. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and X-Ray equipment. Experience with Eaglesoft is great, but not mandatory. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment are essential. Team player, will go the extra mile without being asked.
