Dental Hygiene Assistant - Periodontal Implant Center - Oklahoma City, OK

Dental hygiene assistant position available with south Oklahoma City periodontal specialty office - Periodontal Implant Center. Three - four days per week (Tuesday - Thursday with the option of adding Mondays as well - can discuss 3 vs 4 days / week based on candidate's preference) 6:50am to 3:15pm. Previous dental experience is preferred but not required. Must have a current Oklahoma Dental Assisting permit. This is a great position for someone with an interest in pursuing admittance to a dental hygiene program in the future. Responsibilities Chair-side assist dental hygienist Update health history information Take automated blood pressure Data entry / periodontal charting Word processing / creation of progress notes and update letters to referring dentists Patient reminder calls Assist with scheduling future recall appointments for each patient Inventory / stock hygiene rooms Support various administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and organizing documents Collaborate with team members on special projects as required Requirements Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on providing support and assistance to patients Time management skills that enable prioritization of tasks effectively in a busy environment.
