Responsibilities Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures including Cosmetic and general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry with precision and confidence. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly while maintaining strict aseptic techniques. Take high-quality X-rays and operate advanced medical imaging tools such as 3D scanners to support accurate diagnoses and treatment planning. Manage patient flow efficiently by greeting patients, updating medical records, verifying insurance information, and scheduling appointments as a dental receptionist. Record vital signs and assist in monitoring patient comfort throughout procedures while adhering to infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy. Support the dental team with chairside assisting using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during treatments. Maintain accurate medical documentation including medical coding, dental terminology, and detailed notes within OPEN DENTAL for seamless record keeping. Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a busy dental clinic environment with proficiency in chairside assisting and medical imaging. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques essential for safe practice.. Ability to perform X-ray procedures accurately while maintaining patient safety standards. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
