*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help provide efficient, quality dental care to patients. *Duties* - Prepare patients for dental work - Sterilize dental instruments and equipment - Assist dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs - Educate patients on postoperative and general oral healthcare - Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients - Ensure appropriate medical documentation is accurately recorded in patient records - Utilize Dentrix Ascend for scheduling and maintaining patient records - Operate 3D scanners for dental imaging purposes - Assist with prosthodontic procedures - Perform customer service duties as needed *Qualifications* High school diploma or equivalent - Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical records management - Familiarity with 3D scanning technology in dentistry - Experience with vital signs monitoring - Proficiency in Dentrix Ascend or similar dental practice management software is a plus - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Profit sharing Vision insurance Experience: Dental assisting: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: X-Ray Certification (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Williamsport, PA 17701 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Williamsport, PA 17701: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
