You will assist our orthodontist with chairside procedures, patient education, and clinical records. Key Responsibilities Chairside Assisting: Assist the orthodontist with bonding, adjustments, bracket placement, and debonding procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Patient Care: Greet patients, prepare them for treatment, and ensure their comfort throughout the appointment. Clinical Records: Take high-quality digital X-rays, intraoral photos, and digital scans. Sterilization & Setup: Sterilize and disinfect instruments, operatory rooms, and equipment in accordance with OSHA and CDC guidelines. Appliance Management: Fabricate orthodontic retainers, pour/trim models, and change wires. Education: Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene and orthodontic appliance care. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience as an orthodontic assistant preferred (will train the right candidate). Minimum 3 years of Dental Assistant experience. Active X-ray certification and/or Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) credentials a plus. Current CPR certification. Knowledge of orthodontic software (Ortho2 Edge) and digital iTero scanning technology is a plus. Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-player attitude.
