Position Summary Live Oak Endodontics is seeking a motivated, compassionate, and detail-oriented Full-Time Endodontic Assistant to join our growing specialty dental practice in Savannah, Georgia. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, team-focused, and committed to providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced endodontic environment. This position plays a vital role in ensuring efficient clinical operations while helping patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their treatment experience. Responsibilities Assist the doctor during endodontic procedures, including root canal therapy, retreatments, and related procedures Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to OSHA and infection control standards Take and process digital radiographs and CBCT scans Maintain accurate patient records and clinical notes Educate patients on treatment procedures and post-operative instructions Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after treatment Set up and break down operatories efficiently between patients Monitor and maintain clinical supplies and inventory Follow all HIPAA, OSHA, and office safety protocols Collaborate with the front office and clinical team to ensure a seamless patient experience Qualifications Previous dental assisting experience required; endodontic experience preferred Radiology certification required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced specialty office Professional appearance and positive attitude Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Experience with dental software and digital imaging systems Schedule Full-time (40 hours max workweek) Monday – Friday with some flexibility Competitive pay based on experience Benefits Paid holidays Paid time off Retirement plan options Supportive and positive team environment About Live Oak Endodontics At Live Oak Endodontics our mission is to provide the highest quality endodontic care while surpassing the expectations of our patients and referring doctors.
