Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in Burlington, WI

We are looking for a skilled Dental Hygienist. We are in need of another team member to help care for our patients. Our Dental Hygienist's duties include conducting initial patient screenings (90min), prophylaxis (60min for adult and 30min for children), periodontal therapy, appropriate X-rays, sealants, applying fluoride/desensitizers, advising patients on oral health/preventative care and helping other team members when needed. You will be working with our doctor screening for oral disease, periodontal disease and caries risk factors. We take pride in our high level perio treatment skills to ensure our patients overall health. Attention to detail and good oral communication skills are a must. We work 3, 10 hour days. Responsibilities Perform hygiene and periodontal therapy appointments while maintaining an efficient schedule Conduct thorough patient education and motivation Clean and sterilize instruments according to protocol Provide postoperative instructions and guidance Take Xârays, panoramic images, and CBCT scans Prepare patients and set the stage for appropriate treatment prior to doctor exams Maintain accurate and detailed patient documentation Monitor and manage hygiene supplies Demonstrate strong teamwork and a willingness to help wherever needed Skills & Qualifications Inâdepth knowledge of dental health and safety regulations (e.g., HIPAA) Experience with dental hygiene equipment and sterilization procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Friendly, patientâfocused demeanor Strong attention to detail Physical stamina to meet the demands of the role Diploma in Dental Hygiene Valid state license to practice A current CPR certification Pay: $47.00 - $55.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Employee discount Paid time off License/Certification: Registered Dental Hygienist (Required) Work Location: In person
