We are currently looking for a dental assistant to join our team for our West Los Angeles Private Practice. This role involves assisting our doctors in the back office.
Our office sees patients three days a week, and the preferred schedule for this position is Monday through Wednesday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
A great compensation package of $25-$35 per hour is offered, along with a monthly health insurance stipend, 401k +matching, and more for the right candidate with potential for future increases.
Duties
- Seat patients after check-in
- Take Intraoral X-rays using Digital Sensors
- Help our doctors do exams/cleanings/treatments (4-handed dentistry)
- Complete Prophy Cup polishing and dismissing patients after treatments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in OpenDental
- Assist other dental assistants in turning rooms over, during procedures by preparing instruments and ensuring sterilization protocols are followed
