Position Overview We're seeking an enthusiastic, dependable, and patient-focused Orthodontic Clinical Assistant to join our growing team. This is a full-time, on-site position primarily based in our Pell City office . Training will take place in our Oxford location before transitioning to Pell City. Occasional travel between offices may be required. Whether you're an experienced orthodontic assistant or looking to begin a rewarding career in orthodontics, we provide comprehensive training for individuals who are eager to learn and grow. What You'll Do As an Orthodontic Clinical Assistant, you will: Assist the orthodontist during patient appointments and clinical procedures Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient care Capture digital photographs and radiographs Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records Educate patients on orthodontic treatment and appliance care Ensure treatment areas remain clean, organized, and sterilized Support efficient patient flow throughout the day Communicate professionally with patients, parents, and team members Cross-train in multiple clinical responsibilities Help create an outstanding experience for every patient who visits our practice What We're Looking For Our ideal candidate is someone who: Enjoys building relationships with patients of all ages Has a positive, friendly, and professional attitude Learns quickly and welcomes coaching and feedback Communicates confidently and effectively Thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Is dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Takes pride in providing exceptional customer service Follows clinical protocols while maintaining efficiency and accuracy Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Basic computer proficiency Experience with dental software or electronic health records is a plus Previous orthodontic or dental assisting experience is preferred but not required We are happy to train the right individual who demonstrates a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
