Dental Hygienist Location: Location: IHS , Sisseton, SD Shift: 8:00 A.M. – 4:30 P.M. Monday thru Friday, except Federal holidays Contract Length: One year with option to extend Compensation: Regular Pay Rate: $55/hour Weekly Stipend for travelers: $1,246 Please keep in mind that payroll is processed on a biweekly basis. Benefits: Health and Welfare: $5.09/hr (Up to 40 hours worked per week) PTO: 5 days after 6 months, an additional 5 days at 1 year of service Accrued sick days: 1 hour for every 36 hours worked 11 Paid Holidays: Following the Government calendar throughout the year Job Description The Dental Hygienist will provide preventive and therapeutic dental care services while promoting oral health and patient education in a clinical setting. Requirements: Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license BLS certification Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience Ability to meet IHS credentialing and background requirements Responsibilities: Perform oral prophylaxis, scaling, and root planning Conduct oral health assessments Take and interpret radiographs Provide preventive care and patient education Apply sealants and fluoride treatments Document patient care in the electronic health record (EHR) Pay: $55.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Work Location: In person
