The Opportunity This is a rare and very unique opportunity to work on a highly skilled team doing advanced dental treatments in a beautiful space with all new equipment. The patient base is educated and interested in ideal oral health paired with integrative and holistic care. We are an integrative dental practice in Wheat Ridge/NW Denver, looking for an associate doctor to see patients in our newly acquired, expanded space. This position will be centered around our practice's existing and new families and address airway focused dentistry for children and a whole body health approach for the entire family. This practice is almost 4 years old, with a lot of excitement behind our mission. In addition to many general, surgical and biological dentistry services, we are pioneering and implementing new techniques and treatments in airway and integrative dentistry (nutrition, inflammation, microbiome health, TMJ, pain, occlusion, airway, breathing, sleep) as well as full mouth reconstruction with implants and/or natural teeth (see www.3on6.com). Mentorship is available with the owner doctor, who is heavily invested in continuing education and advanced training. We will be providing an impressive amount of education in integrative dentistry as well as on-the-job training in oral surgery, implants, airway, and advanced dentistry of all kinds. The CE offered by our ownerâs willingness to support, guide and provide this level of education is unmatched. And if you like great music, great coffee and great people, youâve come to the right place. General and restorative dentistry competence is a must, along with basic surgical skills preferred. Interest, knowledge and experience in airway dentistry and biological/holistic dentistry is also a must or a willingness to learn and advance oneâs knowledge. We are looking forward to meeting you. The Job Part-time 1-2 days or Full-time 4-5 days/week. Monthly or quarterly bonus potential. Compensation is a percentage of production with ample opportunity to stay busy. We are now averaging 55-75 new patients per month. Potential for high-end/complex procedures. We are seeking a 2-year commitment as it relates to our investment in training and education in complex, integrative, airway, and biological procedures. Associate Dentist Duties & Responsibilities: Provide quality and professional dental care to patients by completing oral examinations, diagnosing, and treating dental problems Examine patientsâ teeth and gums to diagnose oral health issues Conduct preventative and diagnostic dental treatments, such as cleaning, extractions, dental filling, cavity, and tooth decay treatments, etc. Perform cosmetic dental procedures, such as veneers, crowns, bridges, dentures, etc Order X-rays and diagnostic tests to help with examination and diagnosis Develop treatment plans and follow-up care to ensure the proper healing process Educate and advise patients on proper oral care techniques and need for dental care Administer local anesthesia and prescribe antibiotics and pain medications Collect patient information and maintain patient records Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure patients receive the best care Maintain, clean, and sanitize dental equipment and instruments Ensure a neat, safe, and comfortable environment for patients The Benefits Health Insurance and an employee discount on all dental services, we encourage good health Balanced Schedule, we reinforce work/home balance Training and professional development assistance, we foster personal growth Retirement options coming, we help you plan for your future Competitive compensation, we recognize and reward your hard work and experience The Schedule (Our Operating Hours) M-Th 8-5 or some Fridays 8-1 p.m. (alternate Mondays & Fridays with the hygiene team, 2 or 4-day workweek) Education, Experience and Skills Required 2-5+ years of experience preferred Current Dental License Provide list of CE and training experience Skilled in everything general and restorative dentistry, competence running 2-3 chairs and 2 hygiene columns. Oral surgery and implant experience preferred. Understanding of holistic treatments like safe amalgam removal, ozone and laser dentistry, and more. Airway dentistry and orthodontic knowledge preferred, but not necessary. Social and outgoing, personable, enjoys spending time with and getting to know patients. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Organized and professional, caring and compassionate. Strong work ethic, reliable, and committed. Team mentality, willing to help out with others including front office if needed for check out, treatment presentation, follow up with patients, collecting payment, scheduling, etc. Responsible, reliable and autonomous with staying on schedule, bringing patients back, directing the patient and appointment as needed, cleaning/changing rooms over, sterilization, etc. Competent with intraoral x-rays, will be trained in intraoral photography and impressions for records, will be trained in CBCT image acquisition.
