Permanent Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Job in Cupertino, CA

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Dental Assistant/Receptionist, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring smooth office operations. This energetic position combines clinical support with front desk responsibilities, offering an engaging environment for motivated individuals eager to make a difference. You will be the friendly face and efficient coordinator that keeps our dental practice running seamlessly, fostering positive patient experiences and supporting clinical excellence. Duties Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry, ensuring efficient workflow and patient comfort Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, maintaining strict aseptic techniques and infection control protocols Take dental radiographs (X-rays), no overlapping on cone cuts. Good, readable x-rays. Knows Dentrix software but not required. (training available) Perform vital signs assessments and document medical history to support comprehensive patient care Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and assisting the dental receptionist as needed Skills Reliable and punctual Able to work most or All Saturday's Strong team player Skilled and confident in dental assisting duties Positive attitude and professional demeanor Strong knowledge of dental terminology and billing procedures to support accurate documentation and billing. Experience with insurance verification processes for health insurance plans. Excellent customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette; ability to communicate effectively in bilingual settings is a plus. Computer skills and familiarity with office management software to support daily administrative functions.
