MISSION - To improve the lives of our community by providing life-changing dentistry. RESPONSIBILITIES Have a caring chair-side manner and provide the most comfortable patient experience. Assist the dentist in providing efficient, quality dental treatment. Perform all functions in accordance with the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners. Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where our patients feel comfortable. Attend to the patient's concerns and expectations while creating an exceptional experience. Instruct patients on post-operative/general oral health care, record patient charting, and all doctor notes on treatment records under the dentist's direction. Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatories according to ADA guidelines. Maintain adequate supply levels in each operatory, replenishing as needed. Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other pertinent laws or regulations (e.g., OSHA, Texas State Board of Dental Examiners, HIPAA, ADA, HR policies and practices). GENERAL DENTISTRY SKILLS - Taking impressions, pouring and trimming retainers, making temporary crowns, four-handed dentistry, quality x-rays, time management, ability to think big picture, situational awareness, multitasking, dexterity, and communication skills.
