Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Prosper, TX
Job Summary We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Orthodontic Assistant to join our boutique-style startup orthodontic practice. The ideal candidate will work closely with the orthodontist to provide exceptional care to our patients, ensuring the practice runs smoothly and efficiently. Our office is equipped with the latest technology, including a CBCT x-ray machine, 3D scanner, indirect bonding system, and a 3D printer. We are also an impression-free practice. We are seeking someone with a fun and friendly personality, who enjoys working in a patient-centered environment. Key Responsibilities Communicate effectively with patients and team members Prepare treatment areas and sterilize instruments according to safety protocols Take intra-oral x-rays, photos, and 3D scans Educate patients on proper dental hygiene and elastic cooperation Maintain accurate and detailed patient records Perform orthodontic procedures under the supervision of the orthodontist Manage inventory and order supplies as needed Answer phones and schedule patients Qualifications Experience assisting with orthodontic procedures required Punctuality and reliability are a must Strong knowledge of orthodontic terminology, appointment documentation, and scheduling Ability to handle receptionist duties when needed Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Opportunities for advancement Paid time off Paid training Uniform allowance Experience: Orthodontic Assisting: 3 years (Required) License/Certification: Registered Dental Assistant (Required) Ability to Commute: Prosper, TX 75078 (Required) Work Location: In person
