We are looking for a detail-oriented Orthodontic Records Technician who is passionate about helping create healthy, confident smiles. About the Role As an Orthodontic Records Technician, you will play an important role in the orthodontic patient experience by capturing high-quality diagnostic records used for treatment planning. You will be responsible for taking intraoral and extraoral photographs, digital scans, and radiographs while ensuring patients are comfortable throughout their visit. Key Responsibilities Capture high-quality intraoral and extraoral orthodontic photographs. Obtain digital impressions using an intraoral scanner. Take panoramic and cephalometric radiographs (Radiology certification required). Prepare patients for orthodontic consultations and records appointments. Upload and organize diagnostic records accurately within patient charts. Maintain photography, scanning, and radiographic equipment. Follow all HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control protocols. Assist the orthodontic team with additional clinical responsibilities as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Dental assisting or orthodontic experience preferred but not required. Current Dental Radiology Certification required. Experience with digital scanners and dental photography is a plus. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Positive attitude and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.
