Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) - Le Dental Spa - Ponte Vedra, FL

Le Dental Spa is currently 1-doc, 1-hygienist, and 1 esthetician practice where we heavily integrate skin care, injectables, and comprehensive dentistry. Our exams consist of soft and hard tissue, muscles, skin care, and lifestyle changes. Our days consist of bread and butter dentistry (fillings, crowns, veneers, extractions), Invisalign, Botox + Filler + PDO threads, and microneedling and Hydrafacials. We are looking for an optimistic, positive, hard-working, adaptable, and competent dental assistant who will make the dentist’s office more efficient and pleasant for their team and patients. You’ll ensure excellent customer service and lift administrative and basic dental tasks off the dentist’s shoulders. Dental assistants should be well-organized with great attention to detail. Responsibilities Welcome patients Prepare patients, pre-treatment, during treatment, and post-treatment ensuring their comfort Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed Sterilize instruments according to regulations Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry Undertake lab tasks as instructed Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked Responsible for ordering supplies and respecting budget Schedule appointments Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures Skills Proven experience as dental assistant Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing is a plus Good computer skills Excellent communication and people skills (ability to read the room) Attention to detail Well-organized and reliable High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred Additional certification or training is an asset (e.g. EFDA) Day-to-Day Duties Clinical responsibilities 1. Exam data collection: radiographs, series of photos obtained with iPhone, and intraoral scan with Itero. 2. Restorative procedures (fillings & crowns). Ability to make temporary crown is a must. 3. Invisalign procedures (tray delivery and attachments). Responsible for scheduling patient appropriately. Patient motivation and ability to troubleshoot tracking of trays is a plus! 4. Zoom whitening -maintaining patient comfort and managing patient expectations. 5. Facial esthetics (botox, fillers, PDO threads): consult with patient, pull units, and turnover room Schedule: Dr. Le clinical hours: T-Th 9:30-4:30 Plus if assistant has esthetician license and provides treatment outside of Dr. Le clinical hours.
