Job Summary Join our dynamic dental team as a Pediatric Dental Assistant, where your enthusiasm and expertise will help create a positive patient experience in a fast-paced, friendly environment. In this vital role, you will support dentists by preparing treatment areas, assisting during procedures, and ensuring the highest standards of infection control and patient safety. This position will start out as part time and then transition into full time. Fresh graduates are also welcome, we can train. Must love working with children. Duties Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring all equipment is sterilized and ready for use. Assisting the doctor during pediatric procedures. Take dental X-rays using advanced equipment while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Manage patient records ensuring accurate documentation of medical history, treatment plans, and medical coding. Monitor vital signs and assess patient comfort before, during, and after procedures to ensure safety and well-being. Maintain infection control protocols through aseptic techniques and proper sterilization procedures aligned with OSHA standards. Qualifications Able to get credentialed with Medical City Hospital. Ability to perform X-ray procedures accurately while maintaining patient safety standards. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages—including pediatrics—and team members.
