REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST Theis Family Dental is a privately owned general dentistry practice that seeks to hire a talented full-time or part-time registered dental hygienist for our clinical team. The ideal candidate is: Compassionate and patient centric Detail-oriented Comfortable working at a fast pace Takes ownership of tasks performed, is eager to learn and unafraid to ask questions Highly motivated, approaches each day with determination and confidence Team oriented Dependable, punctual Skilled at communicating chairside and on the phone Enjoys working with patients of all ages Willing to share in the goal of growing a successful family dental practice Requirements: Active Dental Hygiene License in the State of Minnesota Familiar with digital x-rays and electronic patient management software, we use Open Dental CPR certification preferred, but not required Responsibilities: Greet and welcome patients, sustain patient comfort and provide appropriate education throughout treatment Conduct a thorough review of the patient’s health history Perform all hygiene clinical procedures to include radiographs, charting existing restorations/missing teeth, probing, prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, fluoride, administer local anesthetic when necessary, administer nitrous oxide when necessary, operate intraoral camera Maintain a sterile and neat working environment Maintain clinical supply inventory Additional duties may involve: answering the phone, scheduling appointments, and accepting payments Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines Partner with the doctor and all other team members to implement and maximize office workflow Office Working Hours: Monday: 7:30 am to 4:45 pm Tuesday: 7:30 am to 4:45 pm Wednesday: 7:30 am to 4:45 pm Thursday: 7:30 am to 4:45 pm Friday: closed Saturday: closed Sunday: closed Job type: Full-time (ideally) or Part-time (we are very flexible to what works for you) Benefits: Simple IRA PTO Scrub allowance CE allowance Dental benefits Paid holidays We pride ourselves in creating an enjoyable, team centered, and fun work environment.
